VeryDarkMan Celebrates Victory After Court Case With Falana

Activist Vincent Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, celebrated his court victory against human rights lawyer Femi Falana and his son, rapper Falz, with a jubilant display.

In a video shared online, VeryDarkMan is seen dancing and singing “We no lose” while dressed in traditional red Edo attire, complete with a beaded necklace and a white handkerchief in hand.

The activist had earlier announced his arrival in Lagos to attend the court hearing on Thursday, November 14, 2024, following a defamation lawsuit filed against him by Femi Falana. Hours after the proceedings, he took to Instagram to celebrate the outcome, thanking his legal team and supporters, whom he fondly calls "Ratels."

“Nobody get; at the end, them no be God o. Shoutout to Barr. Marvin Omorogbe, Barr. Deji Adeyanju, and Barr. Zainab Otega. And to all the Ratels out there… we move,” he wrote.

The case arose after VeryDarkMan shared a leaked audio clip allegedly implicating Falana and Falz in a ₦10 million scheme to secure a presidential pardon for crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky. Both Falana and Falz denied the claims, demanding a retraction and apology, which VeryDarkMan declined, leading to the legal battle.
