True Life Story

When I was doing GNLD(Neo life business) in port Harcourt, there was a time when I spent the night close to a bridge. I couldn't recall the exact location of the bridge since it had been long but I could tell that it was within those Akpajo axis. That night, I saw things that my eyes and môuth could not even explain.

Carry your chair, get your popcorn and sit down let me tell you what happened.

On that particular day, we went out as usual I made seven thousand, five hundred naira from sales of my sachet tre en en and salmon oil since it was a vibrant Thursday. The funny thing was that all the money I made from the sales none were mine, the least I could do was to link up with some strangers and get something to eat. We were up to four that went for the product marketing that very day(three females and one male+ me summing 4) but we eventually went our separate ways as it approached 9 pm.

The last bus I entered dropped me off at the Akpajo area, informing me that it was his final spot. Along with a few fellow passengers, I disembarked, looking for how to transport myself to Abuloma . Unfortunately, I couldn't spot any vehicles heading in my direction that night. It left me apprehensive about entering the wrong one to the point I went to sit down and rest in one of the empty shops.

Would you believe that by 10 to around 12:30am I was just wandering around and looking for where to spend the night?

The fourth abi fifth man I asked if he could accompany me told me that he doesn't talk to strangers, locked his gate and asked me to leave. I was scared of meeting the wrong person since I do not know who to trust. Omo I don see things for this life sha. Believe me when I tell you that there's nothing in this life.

Seeing that everyone I asked were being adamant, I left the street and maneuvered my way to the roadside and got to the junction, then switched to the direction leading to Abuloma(where I was staying then). The solarlights illuminated every corner of the road, thanks to the efficient lighting. At that time, Governor Wike was still in office. I later came across some women wearing wrappers who were sweeping the road at various spots. When I greeted them, only one woman responded, while the others continued sweeping without acknowledging my greeting. I decided to mind my own business and carried on walking.

Further down the road, something threw stones(granite) at me from behind, but when I turned around, there was no one in sight that was close-by. I stood frozen, gazing around me like a statue with both hands gripped on my bag. I knew that a spirituál force was behind it. When I gazed afar, the other women were busy with their work. Since it was midnight, I gathered the courage to stand in the middle of the road, as I knew that vehicles were unlikely to pass by at that hour.

When I couldn't figure out whom or wherever the granites came from, I quickly used my shoes to kick them from where I was standing and a loud.
