Timaya has worked with numerous Nigerian artists, but two hold a special place for him.

In an interview with Channels TV, he revealed that BNXN and the late Kefee stand out the most among his collaborations. Reflecting on his time with Kefee, a prominent voice in Nigerian music during the 2000s, Timaya described it as an unforgettable experience, paralleled only by his work with BNXN.

"She was a natural talent with an angelic voice," Timaya recalled, sharing his awe as he watched Kefee record her parts for their hit collaboration, "Kokoroko," featured on her album *A Piece of Me*.

In 2021, Timaya created another major hit, "Cold Outside," featuring BNXN. The Dancehall star explained that the song sprang from a casual conversation with BNXN. "We were just talking, and I said, 'It's so cold outside,' then went upstairs. By the time I returned, he had recorded the song," he shared, crediting the production to Yung Willis.

Timaya’s admiration for Kefee and BNXN highlights the exceptional talent of both artists, especially as Timaya himself is widely respected within the Nigerian music industry.
