Director General Of World Trade Organization, WTO, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has reacted to a viral Facebook video claiming she will pay $2 million if a diabetes cure doesn’t work.

In the viral video, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was alleged to have said;

However, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has now reacted to the video. In a post that she shared on her official X handle on Friday, she said the video is fake. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala said the voice in the video is not her own.

Here is what she wrote on her page;

“The above link on Facebook contains a deep fake message representing me asking people to try a fake diabetes cure with $2 million from me if it fails. A well known newscaster is also fraudulently featured. The voice is not mine! Dangerous and fraudulent !”.
