Controversial influencer Bobrisky Okuneye has reportedly been detained at the Seme Border while trying to escape to Benin Republic. The claim was made by popular social media critic, Verydarkman, who said Nigerian immigration officers arrested Bobrisky amid an ongoing House of Representatives investigation.

In an Instagram post, Verydarkman stated, "Bobrisky was arrested this morning at the Seme Border while attempting to enter Benin Republic, trying to evade the investigation by the House of Reps. He is reportedly in the custody of Nigerian immigration."

This arrest follows Bobrisky's failure to appear before a House of Representatives panel after being summoned regarding leaked audio clips. In these recordings, Bobrisky allegedly confessed to bribing officials to avoid jail time and mentioned that his godfather assisted in dismissing a money laundering case with the EFCC.
